We stopped in Edfu to visit this wonderfully preserved temple. This Shows the goddess Isis and her son Horus. These are 3000 years old and are amazing to see so well preserved.
Wow, these are incredible photos. We were hearing all about the anti-government protests in Egypt on npr this a.m. and are glad you haven't mentioned them in your posts.... hopefully it's not affecting you at all.
